New Years Eve Traditions in Brazil

New Years Eve Traditions in Brazil

Happy New Year!! Today is New Years Eve and I thought I’d share a little bit about how it is typically celebrated here in Brazil. The link above is a quick blurb about a few of the traditions here.

I already knew about wearing white to symbolize harmony, balance, and starting the new year off fresh! Little did I know there’s a funny tradition about what color your underwear is as well! Which color would you wear?! I’m headed to the spa for some pre-celebration relaxation before Joseph and I head to a 5-course dinner and a samba party! Pics to follow.

PS

Here is a pic from Christmas at the pool. Merry (belated) Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Thank goodness for free language translations….otherwise, we would have ALL been in trouble with my first color choice! (haha) —– No worries, I rocked ’em, white! Hopefully, it works! I think the world could probably use a more Peaceful Megan!
